Do You Know What Mo Willems’ Pigeon Wants? Very, very cute book. If you’re not familiar, Pigeon is a little kid. He fusses, he gets sleepy, he throws tantrums. And yet, he’s endearing. Somehow whining is cuter on a page when you’re reading it and not hearing it from your own kid.
7 Days of BPA-Free Plastics: Green to Grow Bottles When J was little, I didn’t have to worry about hormone-disrupting plastics. I went with shatter-proof, easy-to-clean bottles and J seems to be just fine. But for new parents or parents-to-be, Drool.icio.us’ list of BPA-free products is pretty handy.
Thermos Foogo: Strong Like Superman I thought it’d be good to include some safer plastic alternatives for older kids. I love this Thermos line fore a few reasons. First, it’s cute. Second, it’s very, very tough for my kid, King Destroyer of Most Everything He Touches, to break steel. Third, I loathe cabinets of plastic containers. I would rather have just a few of these to clean out frequently than try to match up tops to containers.

I love the pigeon books! They’re really quite clever, and the artwork always makes me smile.
